Hi there!
I’m D’Nae (pronounced duh-neigh, like the sound a horse makes).
My photography journey began over 12 years ago, starting with studio portraits for a family friend. A film photography class in high school sparked something deeper, and later, an equine digital photography course at CSU showed me exactly where my heart belonged—capturing the personality of animals and the love they share with their people.
I’m drawn to candid, warm, and natural storytelling. I believe the most meaningful images come from genuine moments—soft noses leaning into familiar hands, quiet connections between animals and their humans, and the honest rhythm of life on working farms. These are the stories worth remembering.
Hope & Heart Photography specializes in animal and agricultural photography, focusing on authentic, heartfelt moments that highlight both the beauty of the animals and the people who care for them. Whether it’s a beloved companion, a working partner, or the daily life of a farm, my goal is to create images that feel real, unposed, and full of life.
My style is relaxed, consistent, and open to collaboration. I want every session to feel comfortable—more like spending time with a friend than being in front of a camera. Your ideas, your animals, your world… I’m simply here to help tell the story.
I’m based in Middle Tennessee, but I’m always willing to travel wherever your story takes me.
